The Centre for Holistic Integrated Learning and Development (CHILD) exists for the specific purpose of helping parents of children with learning difficulties. It provides awareness & training programs for both parents & teachers; educational therapy for children and dynamic assessments for identification & counseling services for parents & children.
Has been working with children with Learning Difficulties for the past 18 years. She is a professional SIM trainer from the KU CRL , Kansas University , USA. , and also a Professionally Certified Educational Therapist (NILD- Virginia, USA) . She is a professional trainer for Feuerstein’s Instrumental Enrichment Program from Israel. She is involved in training teachers all over India for the past 18 years.

She is the holder of a Master of Arts in English from the University of Kerala and has been in the field of education for more than 20 years and in the field of handling children with learning disability for 16. She is also a freelance journalist.
She is trained in SIM, (the KU–CRL, Kansas University), Feuerstein’s Thinking Skills program, FCELD -RCI and Counseling and Guidance -IGNOU. She is a trained LPAD practitioner. She has come to realize the importance of educating parents of children with SLD. This arises from a strong conviction that children with SLD have an immense hidden potential and this can be optimally tapped with the right intervention at the right time, right place and in the right environment. Trained teachers and knowledgeable parents she feels are an essential component of the right environment. Accordingly she is involved in training teachers and educating parents as well as working with children.
A psychologist with 2 decades of experience, she believes that identifying students with SLD is not the end. There is a need to educate parents and teachers on how to handle their wards effectively to bring in a holistic change in them. She firmly believes that change can happen only if there is a combined effort by school, child and parent. She has a Masters in Psychology from Osmania University and is also trained in the SIM (KU-CRL, Kansas University) and Feuersteins’s thinking Skills program. She is a trained LPAD practitioner who does individual and group assessments. She also works at training teachers and parents.
A Post Graduate in Medical Sociology from Loyola College Chennai, he graduated in Social Work (BSW) from Madras School of Social Work and Counseling Psychotherapy and B.Ed. in Special Education (ID) from TNOU. He underwent training in LPAD( Learning Propensity Assessment Device)- A Dynamic Psychological Assessment conducted by the Feuerstein’s Centre in Italy. After completing his post graduation Ajay worked in Lifeline Rigid Hospital, Chennai as Assistant Manager (Operations).
He is a member of the Nurses Association in GNAT and voluntarily helps them with their awareness and prevention programs. He is also the head of the ‘Outreach Programs’. He has set up a resource room in Thirukovilyur, Villipuram, TN and worked there for 2 years, and currently in Rajapalayam , working and counselling children and adults. He conducts ‘Brain Gym’ classes for children and also trains teachers and parents. He enjoys his work and seeks to learn and reach out to as many students who need help.
